Alexander The Great Visits Diogenes The Philosopher

Philip II of Macedonia was Alexander the Great's father.
But just as the Spartans were not afraid of Philip, not everybody was afraid of Alexander.
Wishing to pay his respects to Diogenes, Alexander set out to visit the philosopher and grant him one wish up to half his kingdom.
When Alexander arrived, the great philosopher (best known for walking about with a lantern looking for an honest man) was resting in the drainage pipe where he lived.
Alexander stood above Diogenes and asked if there was anything he wanted.
Diogenes said, “Yes, please move. You're blocking my sun.”
