There is only one reason that the Republican run Senate, who had no problem making up rules to not allow Obama to appoint a Justice, to keep to some rule about allowing the Senate to show personnel records, and that’s that there isn’t anything negative in them regarding Biden. In all probability there is no complaint on file as Reade has asserted.
If there were, McConnell would have those papers out so quickly it would be the first time we’d be getting paper cuts from news online. He’d hire skywriters to smoke the best parts in the skies over Congress. He’d set the complaint to music and have it played in the Kennedy Center. There is nothing there that confirms Reade’s story, but they’ll be damned if they’ll let it die.
Biden's personnel records wouldn’t have the complaint that Reade says she filed.
This is what Biden had to say:
“The National Archives is where the records are kept at what was then called the Office of Fair Employment Practices. I am requesting that the Secretary of the Senate ask the Archives to identify any record of the complaint she alleges she filed and make available to the press any such document."
The Secretary of the Senate, has refused the request.
