Heated Online Discussion Of My Meme Captioned: "There Are No Whites In The Bible"

Alan: Immediately below is my two part interaction with a "meme site" commentator who said: 

Vagabond Souffle: Semitic is a LANGUAGE group. Some might argue ethnic but that's outdated.
Semitic is not a race, Jewish people are Caucasians and have never been considered to be anything but. (Alan: Emphasis mine.)

Alan: According to Genesis, Abraham, the founding Patriarch of the Israelites "came out of Ur" in southern Mesopotamia, a region that now lies in modern day Iraq.

The whole modern discussion and modern presumption (of many) that Jews are white people is a latter-day historical revision, a purely modern categorization. 

These historicsl revisions have nothing to do with the southern Mesopotamian origin of the Jewish people, nor are they related to the ethno-genetic constituency of the Jewish people at the time of Jesus. 

At the time of Jesus, the Romans (who generally welcomed conquered people into the Empire) despised the Jews the same way many "white people" in contemporary America look down on brown-skinned people like latinos and middle eastern Islamics. 

To argue that the Jewish people in biblical times were white is tantamount to arguing that Muhammed and his Arab descendants -- the other great Semitic linguo-ethicity -- were white. 

As whitness is commonly understood (and as whiteness is universally understood among conservative Christians), categorizing Jews and Arabs as white is a laughable construct, although I understand the a priori need to put ideology first and then bend the facts to fit.

Otherwise, these mendacious truth-warpers "lose their religion" and that loss, in the minds of people obsessed with personal salvation (and the inter-related need to avoid of "Hell") is perceived as a fate worse than death.

Caucasions extend west to the Atlantic and east of the Caucasus all the way to Cental Asia and India, and unless you classify them by the newer racial categories of Melanisians or Dravidian, all the way to Australian Aboriginals.

The common definition of "Caucasian" is people occupying the Euopean land mass from the Caucasus mountains to the Atlantic Ocean. 

Please defend your stated position that Caucasians (the term most commonly used as a synonym for "white people") extend all the way into India. 

I understand the valid concept of "Indo-European," but I would like you to confirm your statement that Caucasian whites include residents of the Indian sub-continent.

No one knows for sure the tint of his skin color but there is high likelihood that he was not blonde haired and blue eyed. He was most certainly Caucasian and for those that believe, the color of his hair or tint of his skin color are of no matter. This is a divisive ploy by the atheistic leftists.
