Here is Hillary's verbatim quote: "You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump's supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basket_of_deplorables

At the time Hillary made this comment, Trump was polling 44%.

Half of that number is 22%.

Since a poll last month revealed that 55% of Republicans think Tump is a better president than Abraham Lincoln, I think Hillary's appraisal was pretty accurate, but somewhat low.
