Excerpt: “We believe the impeachment hearings have made it absolutely clear, in a way the Mueller investigation did not, that President Trump has abused his authority for personal gain and betrayed his constitutional oath. The impeachment hearings have illuminated the president’s moral deficiencies for all to see. This damages the institution of the presidency, damages the reputation of our country, and damages both the spirit and the future of our people. Dear F,

Thanks for your email alerting me to the renunciation of Malignant Messiah by the flagship evangelical magazine, "Christianity Today."

Here's my "turn around":

Trump Snarls At Evangelical Magazine Calling For His Ouster By The Senate

Although "Christianity Today" is an evangelical magazine, I have read it for decades, and whenever I see a copy lying around, I pick it up and riffle through.

The Washington Post calls it "evangelicalism's flagship magazine."

Here's a brief blurb from Wikipedia: Christianity Today magazine is an evangelical Christian periodical that was founded in 1956 and is based in Carol Stream, Illinois. The Washington Post calls Christianity Today, "evangelicalism's flagship magazine"; The New York Times describes it as a "mainstream evangelical magazine".
