A Fable From The Life Of Saint Sisoës Reveals The Bogus Authority That Undergirds Trump Cult

Alan: Recently, The Thinking Housewife -- a conspiracist par excellence (who believes Sandy Hook and the coronavirus are ruses to deprive Americans of freedom and establish a villainous world order) --  published the following post about a recorded incident in the life of Saint Sisoes.

I see this fable as a cautionary tale against slavish obedience. In the truest sense of idolize, it idolizes orthodox ecclesiastical authority whether that authority is in fact authoritative, or if it is as corrupt as The Bad Popes. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bad_Popes

As it becomes increasingly clear -- to even the most obtuse Trumpistas -- that COVID-19 is a national and global scourge, many formerly anti-scientific Americans (but not "The Thinking Housewife") will openly acknowledge what they previously denied: They were misled by blind faith in Malignant Messiah's "authority."

Trump's life is an all-encompassing "non-disclosure agreement."

Just as "Un-Potty-Trained-74-Year-Old" refuses to disclose truth to the world, his cultists (along with their ideological sympathizers) refuse to disclose truth... even to themselves.

It's a sprawling cover-up of biblical proportions.

Patience

“TWELVE monks, benighted on the road, observed that their guide was going astray. This, for fear of breaking their rule of silence, they forbore to notice, thinking within themselves that at daybreak he would see his mistake and put them in the right road. Accordingly, the guide discovering his error, with much confusion, was making many apologies; when the monks being now at liberty to speak, only said, with the greatest good humour: ‘Friend, we saw very well that you went out of your road; but we were then bound to silence.’ The man was struck with astonishment, and very much edified at this answer expressive of such patience and strictness of observance.”
