Why Trump Endures Despite Convincing Proof He's A Bad Man And An "Anti-Christ" Trickster

Dear Tig,

Thanks for your voice mail.

We can prove the hypocrisy and the monstrosity.

Our ability to prove that Trump and his mostly "conservative" "Christian" cultists are wrong is a self-evident truth.

And the fact their joined-at-the-hip monstrosity is provable  is why people resort to denial, alternative facts and conspiracy theories.

In the main, people are not interested in the truth.

Indeed, people are threatened by the truth.

People are actively antagonistic to the truth.

People are openly hostile to the truth.

I support the argument that, essentially, Jesus was crucified because he told the truth.

Sure, people built monuments after he was dead (as Jesus said they would).

If Jesus came back again, mark my words: those same "long-after-the-fact" monument builders would never visited the other side of the tracks; would would never sit down to eat and drink with whores and traitors; people who would never risk (as Jesus did) getting a reputation as "a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of unclean sinners."

Put bluntly, they "goody two shoes," always playing it safe, would kill him again, perhaps suffocating him with a knee to the neck.

Here is why Christians have created the narrative that when Jesus returns, he will arrive in a blaze of dazzling glory.

Generic, gum-chewing Christians realize on some very uncomfortable level that -- had they been around 2000 years ago -- they would not have recognized this backwater Galilean as Messiah. In fact, these nominal "Christians" would have been ideologically predisposed to applaud Pilate, demanding he crucify Jesus and release Barabbas-Flynn-Manafort-Stone.

Make no mistake: the 2016 election was Trump's shout-out to the "Good Christians" who need God to be as hateful as they are: "Give us Barabbas!"

And so, to make sure they correctly identify Jesus next time, "conservative" "Christians" buy into the narrative that predicts fireworks and heavenly hosts singing "Hallelujah!" amidst planetary jubilation that THIS IS THE ONE! THIS IS THE ONE! THIS IS THE ONE!

They're delighted they got a second chance, and they're not gonna blow it this time.

My ass.
