AP Fact Check: Trump's Promises On Healthcare



Alan: It goes almost un-noted that the Republican Party has bitched about the inadequacies of U.S. healthcare time out of mind - and have done double duty in this regard ever since Obamacare was passed.
But Republicans NEVER bring forward a healthcare bill - and rarely publicize ideas for how healthcare might be improved. (Notably, Obamacare was based on Mitt Romney's successful healthcare plan for the state of Massachusetts and was opposed tooth and nail by Romney's own party.)
Why this legislative VOID?
The short answer is that Republicans -- whether they admit it to themselves -- would rather see "The Undeserving Poor" die.
