Honey does not go bad. In fact, it's recognized as the only food that doesn't spoil. It will, however, crystallize (becoming thick and cloudy) over time. If this happens, just remove the lid from the jar, place it in a pan of water, and warm it over low heat until the honey returns to its original consistency.Sep 23, 2019
Does Honey Go Bad? - The Spruce Eats
Alan: My newly-purchased bottle of Costco's Kirkland brand honey has a "Sell By" date (generally interpreted as "Expiration Date") of February 27th, 2022.
I admire Costco very much, and routinely tell people that "Costco is capitalism the way God meant it to be."
However, if even this honorable vendor puts a needless "Sell By - Expiration Date" on its honey, just how wide and deep is The Swamp of capitalist bullsh*t?
