Alan: What's wrong with Obamacare is that Republicans would not agree to "single payer system" and, predictably, we ended up with a political sausage. That said, there is not a snowball's chance that Republicans are capable of crafting a better bill. In fact, the party is in a state of frank Civil War and is constitutionally unable to propose a workable bill much less one that is better.
