It is a fact however that Bush-Cheney's Whimsy War on Iraq was a counterproductive, self-destructive exercise in ego-driven bravado that resulted in the death of 500,000 to 1,000,000 Iraqis with millions more maimed or psychologically traumatized for life not to mention subsequent destabilization of the entire Middle East with repercussions for the entire world.
