The Fall Of Iraq. Jawdropping Video Footage Of Cheney, Albright, Gen Clarke & Others

The Fall of Iraq - What You're Not Being Told

Iraq is descending into chaos, but not for the reasons you're being fed by the politicians and the mainstream media.

Alan: The narrator's snarky tone is mildly disagreeable and some of his assertions a tad over the top. However, he marshals documentary footage of Dick Cheney, Madeleine Albright and General Wesley Clarke that is simply jaw-dropping. I have seen some of this footage before but to see it woven together in a "unified field" is eye-popping.

Like mushroom clouds in the distance, two towering "lessons" command attention.

1.) Vietnam demonstrated the futility of intervening in another's country's civil war.

2.) Iraq demonstrated the futility of starting another country's civil war.

Undergirding these harsh lessons is this disturbing truth: The only "success" America's military can now guarantee is the creation of "failed states" - a process that General Curtis LeMay characterized as "bombing them back to the Stone Age."

On one hand, the destructive capability of America's military is considered "protective" since destruction of functioning states means they can no longer develop nuclear weapons.

On the other hand, failed states become hotbeds of terrorism.

In recent decades, the over-riding mindset of America's military establishment has become indistinguishable from a schizophrenic's "double bind": "Damned if I do; damned if I don't."

"Those whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad."

50 year ago, Marshall McLuhan expressed a truth that marked the outset of a new era: "To the spoils belongs the victor."

Even before Pope Franics' epochal shift, Benedict XVI condemned The Iraq War and expressing doubt that a "Just War" could ever again be fought.

Nearly a century ago, Marine Commandant, Major General Smedley Butler, detailed the essence of America's bogus belligerence and -- after confessing his bedrock role as a goon-enforcer for moneyed interests -- launched a sustained campaign to lay bare the interlocking matrix of U.S. money-and-power, an effort he entitled "War Is A Racket."

Alan: As coda, I encourage you to explore Israeli War Historian Martin van Creveld's writing.

Excerpt: "For misleading the American people, and launching the most foolish war since Emperor Augustus in 9 B.C sent his legions into Germany and lost them, Bush deserves to be impeached and, once he has been removed from office, put on trial along with the rest of the president’s men. If convicted, they’ll have plenty of time to mull over their sins."

Note: Van Creveld is the only non-U.S. author whose writings are obligatory reading for America's Officer Corps.

Dear A,

Thanks for your email.

I poked around and found very little.

There's no Wikipedia entry.

Here is an SCG video entitled "A Scientific Description Of God" that provides clues to its value system.

"A Scientific Description of God" seems is rationalist, non-sectarian and emphasizes the phrase "eternal singularity" which borrows from quantum physics.

SCG's account of Building 7's collapse on 9/11 is, on balance, favorable to "Truthers" who impress me as political hyperbolists even if their arguments contain persuasive elements.  (Noam Chomsky dismisses 9/11 Truthers as crackpots.  Here's a rebuttal of Chomsky:

"Storm Clouds Gathering" (SCG) anticipates a Third World War and appears to believe that recent events are hurtling toward that eventuality.

Despite the dearth of information concerning SCG, here are two online discussions that provide measures of insight.

Best wishes to J and G.

Paz con ustedes,

Amazing, infuriating, saddening, what a big fat mess. Thanks for sharing. Who is this SCG group? Do you know?
