But Politicians Don't Know How To Get Elected If They Do It."
Alan: Just as "we prefer the devil we know to the one we know not," most of us don't want dependable solutions to the problems we bemoan.
We like muddle... which is why life is muddle.
It is also true that life's three greatest pleasures are 1.) food, 2.) complaint, and 3.) (trailing the pact by a wide measure), sex.
The "problem" is that whenever you solve a problem, there goes #2.
Fortunately, #3 exists to create new problems.
So, although the following article describes a dependable solution to procrastination, the lion's share of procrastinators will not avail themselves because they want to procrastinate more than they say they want to be productive and "on time."
