Even so, the epistemological prurience evidenced in "Gaining Ice" recalls proliferating conspiracy theories claiming that the slaughter of 25 school kids in Newton, Connecticut was a dramatization by actors working for Homeland Security.
According to many Newton/Sandy Hook conspiracists, some of these same actors staged the "Batman" cinema slaughter in Aurora, Colorado.
