Perpetual Warfare And Bipartisan Opposition To Obama's "Iran Deal"

Dear Fred,

Thanks for your email.

We are a war-loving people.

Decades ago, Mario Cuomo (in a passage I have been unable to track down) said the United States 'is the most violent society in human history.'

We have created a milieu of Perpetual Warfare yet -- statistically speaking -- the world has never been safer.

Furthermore, we are bound -- intimately and (perhaps) inextricably -- to another singularly war-loving people.

Senators defy President on Iran deal ...... so why in hell didn't the Democrats do this in 2003? Why didn't Hillary Clinton and John Kerry and all the other Democratic Senators tell Pres. Bush they did not support his intended invasion of Iraq? Where was their courage?
