Grimes Shreds McConnell At "Fancy Farm" "Debate." McConnell's Days Numbered

McConnell, The Unhappy Warrior At Fancy Farm Speech Fest
This is worth watching.
In case you missed it, today is the famous Fancy Farm Picnic in western Kentucky.  It's a mandatory appearance for any statewide politician in Kentucky from either party.  It was highly anticipated because Mitch McConnell would be on the stage for the first (and possibly only) time with his challenger Allison Lundergan Grimes, Kentucky Secretary of State.
She did not let the opportunity pass by.  She delivered a barn burner of a speech that is well worth watching.  The call and refrain:  "Mitch McConnell doesn't care - I do."  The crowd chanted loudly with her.  The best part is watching McConnell listing to it.  At the beginning you will note a coin toss as to who goes first.  McConnell lost that and the day as well.
Jason Easley writing for Politics USA had this to say
At the Fancy Farm picnic, Democratic Senate candidate Alison Grimes lit up Mitch McConnell, and ripped the heart of out his campaign with a blistering speech that made Sen. McConnell’s remarks look stale and out of date.
...............
After Alison Grimes finished with Mitch McConnell today, all that was left were the tattered Republican talking points from decades past. Mitch McConnell is on the ropes, and his dubious performance today makes one wonder if any amount of ad spending will be able to save him.
The speeches can be seen here.   She ripped him to shreds and he had to sit there and watch.  It was delicious.
UPDATE:  from the Cincinnati Enquirer.  "For 10 miles leading to Fancy Farm at each mile marker, Grimes' campaign had a sign that showed how many more miles to the "Retire Mitch" party."
Well done.  I may be wrong but I think political history was written today.  Years from now they will recount what happened at Fancy Farm today.
