After
months of presidential primaries across the country, Texas voters handed former
Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney the delegates needed to win the Republican
nomination yesterday. The Republican Party will formally nominate Romney at the
GOP convention in August. The campaign now begins in earnest. The economy
continues to weigh most on voters' minds. Romney's party favors smaller
government and lower taxes--issues that have divided Americans greatly in
recent years. Political analysts E.J. Dionne and Ross Douthat join Diane to
talk about our divided nation and what can be done about it.
