Textbook Illustration Of "The Republican Psyche"

Never underestimate the ability of a Republican to swallow jaw-dropping levels of hypocrisy by one of their own.
Latest count from AP has challenger Jim Tracy ahead of Rep Scott DesJarlais R-TN by 4 votes #TN04

You remember Rep. Scott Desjarlais (R-TN), the "pro-family" guy with a history that includes "alleged spousal abuse, serial adultery, sexual relationships with patients and at least three occasions of encouraging a woman to have an abortion (twice his soon-to-be-former wife, once a patient)." Well, he might just win in this very tight primary.
Right now it's down to absentee and provisional ballots. Tennessee doesn't have an automatic recount, although candidates can go to a judge to request one. There's no available estimate on how many absentee and provisional ballots are still out there, so there's a slim possibility that Tennessee's fourth district voters can redeem themselves by booting DesJarlais. That's an exceedingly slim possibility, considering he's contending so strongly in this race.
