Trump is up against "a wall." A wall of his own making.
And Donald himself will pay for it.
Dearly.
The Despicable One will have ever more trouble with the courts: he is already in trouble with his Supreme Court nominee, a fellow renowned for calm unflappability.

Our un-potty-trained führer will also meet increasing opposition from Republican legislators who have already abandoned their idée fixe and centerpiece promise to repeal Obamacare.
The GOP's refusal to repeal Obamacare is like the Pope refusing to "sign off" on The Apostles' Creed.
Although I did not see Trump's recent interview with Bill O'Reilly I understand The Vulgarian mentioned his hope of having a plan ready by the end of the year and enacted in 2018.

Whatever that plan is -- and I don't think Republicans will approve anything but Obamacare Lite -- it is, for me, impossible to imagine a new "plan" without returning to non-viable "free market" bogosity that will harm many more Americans than it helps.
I encourage Obama to re-enter this discussion, pointing out as Trump himself has pointed out -- http://paxonbothhouses.blogspo t.com/2017/01/video-trump-tell s-more-lies-than-any-us.html -- that "single payer works well" and is "half as costly" as our status quo, simultaneously taking time to explain that he "signed off" on Obamacare, not because it was particularly good legislation but because it was do-able; and it successfully normalized "the necessity of Universal Care"; and by expanding Medicaid for people whose earnings were under one and a half times the federal poverty level it established Government as "payer of last resort" - another Trump position! http://paxonbothhouses.blogspo t.com/2017/01/video-trump-tell s-more-lies-than-any-us.html

(The shortcomings of Obamacare are due to the stupid limitations imposed by Republicans)
Just this morning, recently retired N.Y. Republican congressman Richard Hannah was interviewed by NPR's Scott Simon, admitting that the GOP's 50+ attempts to repeal Obamacare were nothing but bluster-and-bombast by a party which knew the president would veto such legislation anyway so why not throw themselves into the idiocratic project of attracting dimwitted voters with gilded bullshit. http://www.npr.org/ 2017/02/11/514650897/trump- and-republicans-timeline-for- obamacare-repeal-getting- longer
Now, however, the GOP is in power and has NOTHING but ungilded bullshit, served up daily by a president who ran off the rails decades ago, and who now -- isolated in his "tower" and inebriated by power -- doubles down on derangement, so that Republicans themselves will eventually be obliged to "pull the trigger" on impeachment. (Despite their Ayn Randian madness, most Republicans are aware that 1.) Trump is toxic and 2.) Pence is their man.)

"The 50 Craziest Things Trump Has Done As President"
The Resistance With Keith Olbermann
Even after impeachment (or a failed one-term presidency) the GOP must still contend with The Monster it deliberately created by pandering to The Demonic - a headlong descnet into Mad Hatter poppycock that does not bode well for The Deplorable Party's resurrection.
On the other side of the aisle, Democrats almost nominated a "socialist" -- indeed, many polls indicated "the socialist" would have won.

In any event, Republicans are intellectually and ideologically bankrupt and have nothing in their "bag of tricks" but fearmongering, alarmism and ethnic animus, if not downright racial hatred.
Against this backdrop, Trump's Base realizes that Truth "condemns" them as lying miscreants and so they take refuge in frank falsehood -- the more delusional the better.
"Alternative facts" may have worked as a campaign tactic: after all, Trump was the first candidate to systematically lie his way into The Oval Office.
However, as a means of governance, falsehood has nowhere to go but down - fascist tendencies becoming more clamorous along the way.
The GOP will lose the senate in 2018. (Democrats only need three seats, and lots of Republican senators, now soiled by lickspittle affiliation with Trump, are up for re-election.)
Although Republican gerrymandering makes it difficult to win back the House, Trump is such an oppositional figure - with no game plan but upping the ante on bombast, bluster and bigotry - that he could trigger such a landslide in 2020 that the House goes Democratic as well.

Barring satanic intervention, Trump - if he has not been impeached already - will lose The Oval Office in 2020 when NO Democrat will "stay at home" on Election Day.
The flood of Democratic voters will be paralelled by a riptide of disillusioned (and even ashamed) Republicans who do not turn out because they have nothing to turn out for, their "savior" having crashed-and-burned almost as soon as his presidency began.
Trump could, of course, esign his office to avoid the avalanche of gathering ignominy. But he is so egotistical that, in his own mind, he would rather stay in power and "teach the world a lesson."
It is worth noting that a "nuclear lesson" is by no means "off the table."

Allen Dershowitz (Remember him) last night on msnbc suggested that the gov. should just write a new immigration EO and scrap the tied up one. Guess what the WH is now saying. They may do just that, as if it was their idea. I'm convinced Dershowitz gave them free legal advice since DT lawyers aren't up to the task and never considered it before Allen.Flynn now can't remember if he spoke to the Russian ambassador about sanctions before DT was sworn in. Pence made his denials based on Flynn's word to him that he did not.The wall estimate is now up to 21.6 billion dollars. Quite a bit more than the 12 billion Donald estimated and he's a builder of great, beautiful things. And who's going to pay for it?DeVos was turned away by protesters at the doors of a public school she was supposed to visit.Trump, after talking to China's leader now believes in a one state China. He also is now behind the Iran Deal.2 turn aroundsThe gov. may be renting space in Trump Tower for National Security personnelbesides secret service for when Donald is there. That's most of today's stuff.I think Donald's looking heavier. Maybe it's the late night comfort food while he's walking the WH halls in his bathrobe. After all he has 24 hour room service.Love
