"Terrorism and The Other Religions"

The Minutemen were the Improvised Explosive Devices of the late 18th century, disguising themselves in buckskin to hide in hedgerows, disregarding "rules of engagement," popping out to shoot "red coats" -- coats that were honorably designed to ensure that combatants could be easily distinguished from civilians.
Founded by terrorists, America has been a terrorist organization ever since.
It is also true that America has a great philanthropic tradition.
Personally, I warm to the appraisal that "philanthropists should give back what they give away."

Canada, on the other hand, shunned terrorism (and other forms of political violence) and thus evolved -- peacefully-- into an independent state less than a lifetime later.
Not having normalized violence at the outset -- not having polluted their cultural wellspring with blood -- Canada became a global model of Civilization.

To see what American terrorists did throughout the 19th century, I recommend Ken Burns' brother Ric's documentary "The Way West." http://www.ricburns.com/film/the-way-west /// http://www.amazon.com/American-Experience-West-Lost-1845-1893/dp/B000CNESNK

America's 20th century experience as a "state sponsor of terror," includes Vietnam, Iraq and "Dropping The Big One" on pre-selected civilian populations.
Not once, but twice.
Targeted civilian populations...
Not once, but twice.

Christian "Just War Principles" Established c. 500 A.D. Vs. America's "just war tradition"

If Uncle Sam did not specialize in reducing other civilizations to The Stone Age, maybe those civilizations would evolve differently.
Have you noticed that we don't win wars any more?
What we do is pretend to protect ourselves by creating "failed states."
How's that working out?
Perhaps it's time to contribute to a successful state rather than another heap of rubble.
Or, have we already ensured that Palestine can not make it back from The Stone Age?
Mr. Netanyahoo. Tear down this wall.

In 1970, when Jenny Baboolal's life partner, Tommy Graham, returned from Afghanistan, he reported that Afghanistan was the most generous, welcoming society in the world.
