Donald Trump's Racism In Historical Context: "Must-See" Video Mash-Up

Alan: I just saw Spike Lee's "BlacKkKlansman," starring Adam Driver and Denzel Washington's son, John David Washington.

The movie is based on the true story of Colorado Spring's first black police officer, Ron Stallworth, who, in 1979, managed to infiltrate the KKK.

In my view, "BlacKkKlansman" is the odds-on favorite to win "Best Picture Oscar."

In keeping with my belief that people should know as little as possible about movies they already plan to see, I refrain from supplying a "bill of particulars."

Without "giving anything away," I will note that "BlacKkKlansman's" ending is so intense that when the final scene suddenly loosened it's grip, I had to fight back sobs to prevent an unseemly display of public blubbering.

Turning to my companion, I learned that he had also experienced the same cathartic reaction.

Interview With The "Real" Ron Stallworth

Taking a metalevel view, I will mention this self-evident truth. (Well... metaphorically speaking.)

If Hillary Clinton had incited black people to commit violence as Trump incites white people - just once, and with only a tenth of Deplorable Donald's inflammatory intensity - she would have been drawn-and-quartered on the Capital Steps, her disarticulated body-parts hung in a gibbet over Pennsylvania Avenue until the last bit of flesh had rotted from the bone.

The hypocrisy of contemporary American conservatives makes biblical Pharisees look like kind-hearted Shakespearean soothsayers.

While "The Official Story" of White Nationalism and White Supremacism "makes sense" within the contemptuous confines of its own premises, the underlying "value system" of racial/ethnic superiority is at least as vicious as Mussolini's, and lurks but "a stone's throw" from clamoring for a "Final Solution." (Please see the following link for Amerika's "Semi-Final Solution": http://paxonbothhouses.blogspot.com/2017/05/13th-made-for-netflix-documentary-about.html)

Were we to accept Hitler's premise that "The Jews" were the distilled source of Germany's social, political, cultural and economic woes, der Führer's monstrosity would also make manipulated "sense."

Yes...

That would be the same fearmongering Führer who promised "to make Germany great again."
