Dear F,
Interesting list although there are a handful of books that seem to be famous more for their zeitgeist appeal rather than their enduring quality. And although I can just barely understand the inclusion of Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged, it's sort of like what might happen if they had included Mein Kampf.... and a coordinated effort by "The Young Fascists Of America" mustered enough votes to win The Grand Prize of MOST POPULAR BOOK.
But overall the list looks quite well-selected.
