This Story Of Madness And Slaughter Epitomizes The Meaning Of "All-American"

Alan: In America, violence -- and lots of it -- has always been the nation's "solution of choice."

From the American Revolution through the extermination of native Americans, the lynching of black people and six-shooter "justice" across The Wild West, violence is America's first resort... and last resort.

"Bad Black People." Why Bill O'Reilly Is Wrong Even When He's Right

Listen closely and you will hear 2nd Amendment evangelists -- from sea to shining sea! -- not wishing Tammy Meyers had refrained from tracking down her assailant with a pistol-packing body guard but wishing she had a glock velcro-strapped to her steering column... or perhaps a hand grenade to lob at the punk.

We are living in The Apocalypse -- "the lifting of the veil" -- and what is coming into view is the realization that violence is (almost always) ego-strutting sham serving no good purpose.

To be clear: Vietnam, Iraq and Reagan's Contra War on Nicaragua were not only stupid but counterproductive and self-destructive.

To be clear: No one has a good explanation for the cause of World War I but there is wide agreement that the punitive terms of the Versailles Treaty (which put an end to the First World War) caused World War II.

Now it remains to be seen whether the creation of Zionist Israel --- one of the principle ends of World War II -- will prove the provocation of World War III.

Family knew suspect in Las Vegas road rage shooting

Las Vegas police took a suspect into custody Thursday afternoon in the killing of a mother of four following a road rage incident last week, officials said.
SWAT teams had surrounded a home about a block from where 44-year-old Tammy Meyers lived. At one point, Meyers' husband showed up at the scene and attempted to cross the street in front of the house but he was held back by police. He then yelled, "There's the animal, a block away."
Jesse Roybal, a spokesman for Las Vegas Metro Police, said earlier that the suspect remained inside the home. Authorities had been trying to contact him using a bullhorn to get him to surrender.
It was not immediately clear if the man was believed to be the shooter.
Meyers was shot in the head outside her home in a Las Vegas cul-de-sac shortly before midnight last Thursday night after confrontations that began when she was giving her 15-year-old daughter an after-hours driving lesson and the girl honked at a driver she felt was speeding, police said.
After an argument, Meyers left to find the suspect's vehicle along with her adult son, who was armed with a gun.
At some point, someone inside the other car fired multiple shots, one of which struck Meyers, investigators have said. She was taken off life support on Saturday.
Robert Meyers said his adult son had fired several shots with a handgun at the car. He told his father that there were three people inside.
Robert Meyers also said he thinks at least one 9 mm shot by his 23-year-old son hit the car.
The Associated Press contributed to this report.
