Failure is always a possibility. Not to acknowledge this provokes the needless stupidity of Vietnam and Iraq.

Thank God Uncle Sam is now looking on Iran as an "ally" or we would have "achieved" a 21st century "hat trick."

There is no denying the many horrors "in the other side" of "Christendom's" ongoing conflict with Islam. But perspective/proportion counsels us to remove the tree trunk from own eye before railing against the sliver in "the other guy's."
