Murder Rates Decline When Death Penalty Abolished: NC Confirmation.

What did this black man do that justifies what the smiley white boys are doing?

Alan: "There are some crimes that are so heinous that I support capital punishment - like anybody killing a cop." Chautaqua county "promoter"

It is knowledge of the "kind" of crime -- or awareness of the kind of crime -- that creates an individual's emotional need that, in turn, "needs" satisfaction.

If the Chautauqua county "promoter" -- or any American -- knew the specific crimes committed by Uncle Sam in Vietnam, Iraq, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Chile, Granada, El Salvador, there would be greater revulsion than the Chautauqua promoter feels over the cop killer.

Then, what becomes of his "patriotism" and his facile sense of righteousness? And what does "he" do with his new-found compulsion to bring Bush, Cheney and Reagan to the gallows?

(At the bottom of this post are the first six google hits in response to the key words,  "murder rates and death penalty.")

Dear Alan,

Let us celebrate!

Today is the anniversary of the last execution in North Carolina.
It’s been seven years.
Since then the murder rate has dropped.Since then the rate of people joining People of Faith Against the Death Penalty in calling for repeal of North Carolina's death penalty has skyrocketed.

Executions will not stay stopped without us. They have to be kept away. The powers that be in Raleigh want to kill more now.
We have big plans for our work this fall in North Carolina and beyond. I'll tell you more soon. We can only do it with your financial support. Really.

Please give generously here or mail a check to the address below.

Join me in continuing to invest in a future without the death penalty.
