Alan: Blinded by the glass ceiling's reflection, most people don't really think there's anyone "up there." Or if there is, it's a benign "uncle" who rewards "the hard-working" and punishes "the n'er-do-well slackers."
But those who "follow the money" will find an interlocking matrix of cosy deals, gentlemen's agreements, legal-and-administrative favoritism and so many children of greed, envy, lust and vanity that anyone outside The 1% -- including radical activists -- cannot imagine the scope of "the rigging" nor the socio-economic devastation wrought by such diabolical self-aggrandizement.
