Romney Adviser Defends Lack Of War Talk at RNC

"Romney advisor defends lack of war talk"
Mingya!

Americans want red meat -- human, animal.
We suffer a national compulsion to ensure that government agents are killing people somewhere. (Consider the foolishness of Vietnam and Iraq. Anticipate the foolishness of Iran.)
The target of our murderous wrath is inconsequential ,although people of color are preferable.
Just designate an enemy... and whoop his ass!

The transcendentally important thing is to guarantee ceaseless slaughter.

Appearing on CNN’s State of the Union Sunday morning, Romney adviser Eric Fehrnstrom defended Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney for the lack of war talk in his Republican National Convention speech, saying that the candidate had spoken about war in a speech the day before.
During his Thursday evening closing remarks at the RNC, Romney made no mention of the ongoing 11-year War in Afghanistan. TheAssociated Press notes that he is the first Republican candidate since 1952 to accept the party’s nomination without a mention of war.
Regardless, Fehrnstrom told host Candy Crowley that the speech was a “home run,” and that Romney omitted war talk because he had spoken about it the day before during a campaign stop.
“The day before the convention speech, Governor Romney traveled to Indianapolis on Wednesday and he gave a speech before the American Legion,” Fehrnstrom said. “Governor Romney thought it was a privilege to be speaking to people who had served so nobly and in that speech, he talked about Afghanistan. He also talked about the $1 trillion dollars in defense cuts that are going to be taking place under this president.”
