Paul Simon Impressed With Disturbed's Sound Of Silence Cover

David Draiman and his bandmates stunned fans when they announced plans to cover the Simon & Garfunkel track, and now it's a big hit.
And the songwriter likes the new version so much, he has reached out to Draiman to congratulate him.
Simon caught the band performing the tune on U.S. late-night show Conan on 28 March (16), and sent Draiman an email.
He wrote: "Really powerful performance on Conan the other day. First time I'd seen you do it live. Nice. Thanks."
Thrilled to hear from the musician, Draiman posted a screenshot of the email on the band's Facebook page, and added: "Mr. Simon, I am honored beyond words. We only hoped to pay homage and honor to the brilliance of one of the greatest songwriters of all time. Your compliment means the world to me/us and we are eternally grateful."
Simon has also directed his fans to footage of Disturbed's Conan performance via social media, calling it a "wonderful rendition".
