The GOP has again painted itself into a corner.
It is impossible to provide universal healthcare
without an "individual mandate" or some other tax increase.
Knowledgeable Republicans know this
just as Mitt Romney knew it when he served as governor of Massachusetts.
The alternative is to promote 3750 mores times the number of deaths
caused by yesterday's attacks on Charlie Hebdo.
And to cause this dizzying number of deaths not just once, but every year.
