Torture Is Not THE Issue. Believing A Muslim Informant's Lies Was Utterly Catastrophic

Alan: Uncle Sam's willingness to give credence to friends' lies is immeasurably more devastating than any tortured person's confession - whether true or false. The United States was fooled into the stupidest war since Emperor Augustus lost his legions in Gaul by a rinky-dink Iraqi "on the make." The following account of a mediocre man's suckering the United States into a colosally ill-advised and totally unjust war should be central to middle school and high school civics' curricula. That no more than one American in a thousand is aware of this trickery is the key measure of American intelligence, not the distraction (however important it may be) of Bush-Cheney's passion for torturing human beings.

"Israeli War Historian, Martin van Creveld's Startling Commentary On The Iraq War"

Excerpt: "For misleading the American people, and launching the most foolish war since Emperor Augustus in 9 B.C sent his legions into Germany and lost them, Bush deserves to be impeached and, once he has been removed from office, put on trial along with the rest of the president’s men. If convicted, they’ll have plenty of time to mull over their sins." Israeli war historian Martin van Creveld is the only non-U.S. author whose writings are obligatory reading by America's Officer Corps.
