Time To Stop Teaching Victimization, Condom Use, Global Warming And Cancer Facts

Dear Fred,

Concerning Elaine's "Thought For The Day..."

Just yesterday I learned that - in our lifetime - the percentage of Americans who smoke has declined from 45% to 17%.

This single fact marks signal success in improving the nation's health, an achievement that has prevented untold millions of very ugly deaths from emphysema, COPD and lung/throat/lip/tongue cancer.

As for the other items on Prager's list of purported horrors, it is a fact that "Conservatives Scare More Easily Than Liberals." http://paxonbothhouses.blogspot.com/2013/07/conservatives-scare-more-easily-than.html

Semesters devoted to condom use?

When did 15 minutes over the course of a high school career become a semester?

Concerning caffeine...

Ongoing investigation finds that coffee and tea are good for one's health and no one teaches otherwise.

No more educational time devoted to global warming?

The CIA and Joint Chiefs of Staff are devoting a great deal of time to global warming as an unprecedented cause of demographic dislocation and consequent political destabilization.

If you think the border wall doesn't work now, wait a few decades.

Victimization is real and we need to teach our young people that The 1% is fucking them in the ass 24/7.

Pope Francis and Elizabeth Warren -- who will be president - are doing excellent work detailing this anti-American and destructively unjust process. http://paxonbothhouses.blogspot.com/2014/07/warren-buffett-on-coddled-rich.html

At regular intervals throughout the day, conservatives examine their victimized value system... and then "make stuff up" just to keep The Lie alive.

Here is how I would modify Prager's summary exhortation: "Every high school principal should tell his students to read my blog."

Pax on both houses,

Alan

"I am reorienting the school toward academics and away from politics and propaganda.
No more time will devoted to scaring you about smoking and caffeine, or terrifying you about sexual harassment or global warming.
No more semesters will be devoted to condom wearing and teaching you to regard sexual relations as only or primarily a health issue.
There will be no more attempts to convince you that you are a victim … ."
-- Dennis Prager (In a column about what every high school principal should tell his students. July 2010)

Have a Great Day. Pray for America.
