Mormonism Is Not A Christian Denomination. Founder Joseph Smith Was A Sex Pervert.

Joseph Smith's First Vision at Age 14

Joseph Smith had his first vision at age 14. Allegedly, celestial persons appeared to him: "My object in going to inquire of the Lord was to know which of all the sects was right, that I might know which to join. No sooner, therefore, did I get possession of myself, so as to be able to speak, than I asked the personages who stood above me in the light, which of all the sects was right — and which I should join. I was answered that I must join none of them, for they were all wrong, and the personage who addressed me said that all their creeds were an abomination in His sight: that those professors were all corrupt . . ." (Joseph Smith, History of the Church, vol. 1, p. 5-6).

"What is it that inspires professors of Christianity generally with a hope of salvation? It is that smooth, sophisticated influence of the devil, by which he deceives the whole world," (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, compiled by Joseph Fielding Smith, p. 270.)

  1. These articles are misleading containing half-truths...It's sad to think these misconceptions are still sensationalized. A christian is "a person who has received Christian baptism or is a believer in Jesus Christ and his teachings." which means "Mormons" (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) are christian (we are baptized and we believe in Jesus Christ)

Also back then the age of consent varied from 10-16 (depending on the state) so marrying a 16 year old would not be abnormal.

  2. Also "Kolob" is not God's home planet it is "The star nearest the throne of God" (Abr. 3:2–3, 9)

I support the american First Amendment so please share your thoughts and opinions about my church but please do research on both sides of the view. My science classes have taught me that all the information should be presented before anyone can draw a logical conclusion.

    1. Yes old astronomy did mistake stars and planets but that still means Kolob is the nearest heavenly body to God not necessarily his "home planet"
