It used to be that Republicans opposed cell stem research because they were afraid it could be used to give Democrats a spine. 

Now, Etch-a-Sketch informs us that John Kerry -- portrayed by The Noise Machine as prototypal flip flopper -- actually has a titanium spine against Mitt's lone strand of linguine.
