Fred Owens I forgot the Q.
Alan: Speaking of Q...
If you're not up to speed on "QAnon," it's where "The Trumpista Lunacy" is heading.
Full speed. Torpedoes be damned.
It's hard to discuss "QAnon" without "coming across" as crazed.
It's THAT crazy.
Here's NPR's report: https://www.npr.org/2018/08/02/634749387/what-is-qanon-the-conspiracy-theory-tiptoeing-into-trump-world And here's Snopes' report on QAnon: http://paxonbothhouses.blogspot.com/2018/08/snopes-who-or-what-is-q-conspiracy.html)
On the NPR page, check out the embedded "explanatory video" concerning "QAnon" which is also accessible in the following Daily Beast article. https://www.thedailybeast.com/what-is-qanon-the-craziest-theory-of-the-trump-era-explained
This 13 minute "Origin Story" -- produced by a QAnon "believer" -- is an unctuous blend of "common folk heroism" in support of threatened "family values," while everyone "outside the fold" is deemed haplessly and hopelessly deluded, or a Clinton Dynasty co-conspirator who signs off on child sex trafficking (in and out of pizzaria basements) and the kind of large-scale global theft that, ironically, has always been the trough at which Cheater-in-Chief slurps.
Ironically, this "QAnon Origin Story" honors John F. Kennedy -- one of "the good guys" -- but only because he is the alleged source of a thoroughly debunked "quotation" in which Jack promised (just days before his assassination) to "expose the plot to enslave every man, woman and child in this country." http://wafflesatnoon.com/theres-a-plot-jfk-quote/
It is increasingly hard to see that this super-steroidal Lunacy will not devolve to violence.
"Trump's Rally Rhetoric Is Going To Get Someone Killed"
Eugene Robinson, Washington Post
Even if Trump is impeached or expelled by The 25th Amendment, I see him continuing his "road show," inflaming lunatic sentiments in the guise of Jefferson Davis' second coming, promoting the Neo-Confederacy of which he is already de facto president.
The whole thing is belly-laughable except "it's not going to end well."
My retired Air Force general friend (94 years old, the most traveled person I know, and still sharp as a needle) assumes that the nation's militias can only be "pushed" so far before they unhinge.
Trump is just the guy to push them.
