WSJ's "Four Pillars Of A New Health Care System" Has No Intention Of Universal Coverage

This should cover it!

"The Four Legs of a New Health-Care System"

Wall Street Journal

Alan: As the following Wall St. Journal excerpt shows "health insurance for all" means preventive screening, vaccines, bandaids and antibiotics... and then NOTHING until a person gets walloped by a "catastrophic" bill of $5000.00. "The ObamaCare replacement should make it possible for all people to get health insurance that provides coverage for basic prevention, like vaccines, and expensive medical care that exceeds, perhaps, $5,000 for individuals."

Such "universal healthcare" is literally - and figuratively - a bandaid. "That which we call crap, by any other name would smell as fetid."

The GOP's approach to healthcare is to real health insurance what Lego's is to The Eiffel Tower.

Lest we forget...

Real universal care is currently in place - and working well - throughout the developed world.

It is solely America's conservative" noise machine that would have us believe otherwise - the same noise machine that just brought us "Not My Pussy Grabber!"

To claim that societies with ample menus of socialized benefits are in perilous economic condition because of their public services ignores a salient fact, a salient fact that Americans across the political spectrum must start acknowledging: the United States of America is the most perilously perched, dysfunctional nation in the northern latitudes, and furthermore is more likely to come undone - just as the Soviet Union did - than most 2nd world nations in the southern latitudes.

Judging by the relentless volcano of vitriol that erupted in the 2016 presidential campaign, at least half of Americans (and maybe more) are unhappy, angry, and/or hateful people.

At minimum, we need to acknowledge our ongoing cultural collapse.

Not only is Trump no part of a pending solution, he is a popped pustule on a pocked-and-declining Body Politic.
