Alan: Trump's assertion that the prospect of Russian manipulation is "ridiculous" is the only piece in this puzzle that doesn't fit like hand in glove.

Is Russia not a long-time designated enemy of the United States, routinely working to undermine American "interests?"

Is Vladimir Putin not former head of the Soviet Union's KGB, a practiced master of dirty tricks.

The possibility of Russian subversion is at least "possible."
