Railroad Crossings Are Way Safer Than They Used To Be
Six people were killed when a Metro-North commuter train struck an SUV in Valhalla, N.Y. Tuesday evening. Fortunately, such incidents have become much rarer over the past several decades, according to data from the Federal Railroad Administration.
