Republicans cannot live without denial -- denial of global warming, denial of evolution, denial of the evils perpetrated by "The Invisible Hand" and "Free" Markets, denial of the need for new taxes, denial of A Social Contract, denial of The Common Good, denial of White Privilege, denial of universal healthcare, denial of a voice for organized labor, denial of the hatred that has typified wide swathes of the American experience and the bizarre melange that passes for much of American "Christianity."
