Zionist Israel Seems To Have Two Choices: Another Exile Or Continual Belligerence

"Turkey Can Teach Israel How To End Terror"

Dear Fred,

The tide of public opinion is turning against oppressive Zionism.

The current invasion of Gaza contributes to this sea change.

Plus, there is "a new thing under the sun."

Hamas has mounted unexpectedly strong resistance to the current invasion and looks much more like a trainedd army than a ragtag collection of wild-eyed rebels.

Perhaps Israel has already bitten off more than it can chew by revealing Hamas as a formidable foe - an actual force to be reckoned with.

Not only must Israel come to terms with Gaza, it is starting to look like they must reach terms that don't make it look like Netanyahu "lost" by failing to display the efficacy of "overwhelming."

Then there's all that "collateral" damage that degrades Israel's "brand."

Clearly, the alternative to "settling" the current dispute could be a "Final Solution" - either "ethnic cleansing" or "provocation of World War III."

Remarkably, we now know that "the civilized, Democratic Zionists" have contingency plans to nuke European cities for the specific purpose of drawing the rest of the world into Armageddon.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_van_Creveld

Imagine what the following pie chart will look like then!

"Terrorism And The Other Religions"

Oddly, Zionist Israel's contingency plan for the provocation of World War III makes it easier to "pitch" Israelis' relocation to other parts of the world.

I believe most Americans would prefer a thriving Jewish "enclave" somewhere in the western desert to World War III.  (I think American Jews would be willing to "buy up" a big hunk of Nevada or Montana just as other diaspora Jews bought up Palestine starting in the 19th century.)

I also think you overlook another option.

Israel could return the occupied territories as prelude to establishing a full-fledged Palestinian State.

Consciously or unconsciously, Israel is opposed to a Palestinian State because such a state would normalize "Palestine" which, in turn, would allow Israel's Palestinian citizens to evolve peaceably into a "voting majority" at which time Zionism is voted out of power.

Inconvenient Truth: Israel believes in Democracy only if it excludes possibility of a Palestinian majority.

"Ariel Sharon Learned The Limits Of Force"
Excerpt: "Sharon recognized the demographic problem that Israel faced. When he was elected prime minister, he was asked how Israel could continue to be a Jewish and democratic state if it had a Palestinian majority. He said he expected a million Jewish immigrants from the United States. It wasn’t long before he realized this was a pipe dream. He saw that the Palestinian majority was around the bend and that the world would not accept a Jewish state if the majority of people under its control were Palestinians. He also realized that this would be a situation that many people inside Israel could not accept, either.  This turnabout seemed quite sudden. He famously suggested that there was no difference between Tel Aviv and Netzarim, a small Jewish settlement in Gaza. Yet only a short while later he decided to pull out of Gaza in a resounding rejection of everything he had preached. He tore down all the settlements there, evacuated the synagogues and cemeteries, and withdrew from every inch of Gaza back to the 1967 lines — against the protests of his former followers.

In the existing political matrix of "perpetual warfare," Israel draws "strength" by keeping itself on the brink of "final solution," whereas "giving peace a chance" (by virtue of establishing a real Palestinian state) would "pacify" the region, thus depriving Israel of its exterminative erection.

Once that errection is lost, Israel will not "get it up" again.

And Zionism goes out with a whimper, not a bang.

Alan

Jews would not be welcome in this country in large numbers. Nobody wants the Jews. There is no way they could leave Israel and be welcome anywhere on this planet unless they dispersed into small groups.
They have two choices -- exile into small groups or stand and fight.
I expect they will stand and fight. They have a better than 50/50 chance of surviving if they do this.
What is your prediction?

Dear Fred,

I encourage you to watch the following talk by Miko Peled.

"Miko Peled, Son Of Top Israeli General, Tells The Story Of Palestine's Occupation"

If this presentation does not change your mind, I hope to learn why.

A small but significant point...

At the 106:25 mark (very near the end of the Q&A) Peled is disarmingly frank in his description of American realpolitik. Although I encourage you to listen to Peled's entire comment on this topic, it distills to this: 'If you want to have a career in national American politics, you have to express personal support for Zionism."

That said -- and although Peled considers Israel the foremost terror state in the world -- the fact of American realpolitik does not bother him.

Official support for Zionism is "what The System currently requires" and railing against this requirement is, on balance, a distraction from the work of building a popular movement.

Alan

PS Near the beginning of Peled's talk, "the general's son" expresses the view that King David was not the historical person we commonly assume. Since this assertion may be a stumbling block for you, here is a useful summary of King David's "role" from "Jewish Virtual Library."  http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/History/davidjer.html
