America will look back on its approval of "ubiquitous firearms" as more bizarre than the institution of slavery which -- at least -- had age-old stupidity to lend an aura of "normalcy."

Of all people to dwell on this earth, only Americans have been stupid enough to idolize the cause of their own undoing.
