McArthur Wheeler: Patron Saint Of American "Conservatism"

Dear Michael,

I hope you are well.

The Ken Burns' interview below and Diane Rehm's (first hour) investigation of "False News" -- with all the epistemoligical questions it brings in tow -- are exceptionally good.

In the "False News" segment, note the observation by a woman panelist who used to be a passionate advocate of circulating fact-check news until convinced by data that say such enlightenment actually gives "longer legs" to the fallacy AND causes people who are prone to believe in fallacies to double down on their original conviction that what is wrong is right.

Whoa Nelly!?!?!
