Here's the rub.

Remove the word "Police" from Officer Stalien's vest and a resounding majority of white "sympathizer" would immediately feel better if a white cop were holding him at gunpoint. (Remove the word "Police" from a white officer's vest and he becomes a heroic supporter of The Second Amendment.)

If Officer Stalien's vest was not emblazoned with the word "Police," very few white sympathizers would object to a white cop pulling a trigger-happy finger to kill him in cold blood.
