Flamingo: The Ungainliest Of Birds On Land Is An Arrow in Flight



























































































A migration lane between two flamingo breeding grounds passes over my beach in San Crisanto, Yucatan. When flying flamingoes tuck in their wings and coast, they are virtually indistinguishable from arrows. I have had no luck locating such a photograph.
