Michelle Bachmann: Obama Arming Islamic Terrorists. The End Times Are Here

Alan: Michelle Bachmann is the visible tip of an End Time Iceberg whose most ominous feature is the normalization of Armageddon. Like Bachmann hereself, many apocalypticists are eager for Armageddon, champing at the bit for "the coming of the Lord in fire and dominion." We are wisely wary of self-fulfilling prophecies; doubly so when such prophecies are disguised as The Word of God.

"What Terminology Should We Use For Republican Politicians Who Are, In Fact, Crazy?"

THINK the shutdown US is in trouble now? A Tea Party Republican who ran for president last year says that's nothing, because Barack Obama has brought the End Times upon us.
Michele Bachmann says President Obama's decision to support Syrian rebels, who she calls al-Qaida terrorists, with anti-chemical weapons gear and limited arms.
"The US is willingly, knowingly, intentionally sending arms to terrorists. Now what this says to me, I'm a believer in Jesus Christ, as I look at the End Times scripture, this says to me that the leaf is on the fig tree and we are to understand the signs of the times, which is your ministry, we are to understand where we are in Gods end times history," Bachmann told Jan Markell, radio host of Understanding the Times on Saturday.

"Rather than seeing this as a negative, we need to rejoice, Maranatha Come Lord Jesus, His day is at hand," Bachmann added later. "And so when we see up is down and right is called wrong, when this is happening, we were told this; that these days would be as the days of Noah. We are seeing that in our time. Yes, it gives us fear in some respects because we want the retirement that our parents enjoyed. Well they will, if they know Jesus Christ."
The White House has not responded.
Bachmann, left far behind by more moderate Republicans when she ran for the presidency last year, has become infamous for her outlandish statements, which have included:
An earlier End Times prediction that had the world ending in 2006. Wrong
She said the HPV vaccine causes "retardation." Wrong
She sang "Happy Birthday" to Elvis on the anniversary of his death.  That's just wrong
She claims to have been trapped in a bathroom by lesbians. We'll take her word for it, but we haven't seen pictures
Also, in an interview with the conservative website Pajamas Media she said that:  "I find it interesting that it was back in the 1970s that the swine flu broke out then under another Democrat president, Jimmy Carter. And I'm not blaming this on President Obama, I just think it's an interesting coincidence." Wrong (the president was Republican Gerald Ford)
"There are hundreds and hundreds of scientists, many of them holding Nobel Prizes, who believe in intelligent design." Wrong about the Nobel prizes at the very least
“Carbon dioxide is portrayed as harmful. But there isn’t even one study that can be produced that shows that carbon dioxide is a harmful gas," Even other climate-change deniers know this is wrong
Also, her husband Marcus, runs a "conversion therapy" clinic for gays who want to be "normal".
