I will also mention my growing apprehension that "the prize of salvation" -- which requires "Christian" "conservatives" to do very little but proclaim "Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior" -- is, at bottom, so much self-interested bargaining - very much "letting the left hand know what the right hand is doing."
