The city of Chicago saw 72 murders last month, according to crime data released by Chicago police Friday.

  Karen Kolbinsky We stayed in inner city Baltimore while retorting a town house for Matt for a 2 years and it was everything terrible in those poorest of neighborhoods anyone can imagine anywhere in third world countries.

  Karen Kolbinsky That's exactly how Berrnie Sanders described inner city Baltimore and how any honest person who has actually been there will admit.. there are beautiful sections of the city as well that are clean and kept up that cost a fortune to buy or rent a place to live.

    I enjoyed my stay.
    
    The only person I know who has lived in both New York City and Baltimore says the rats were worse in New York.
    
    Here's the deal.
    
    Every large American city has sections that are reminiscent of third world countries. 
    
    To point this out this ubiquitous fact says nothing important about one city over another.
    
    However, the fact that Trump routinely tries to degrade -- and that his cult followers cheer his attempts at degradation -- is the kind of human behavior that fouls any nest.
    
    If "His Satanic Majesty" had not gotten blowback for the phrase "shithole countries," I can imagine him calling Baltimore a "shithole city."
    
    It's a fact that Trump appeals to the worst angels of our nature.
    
    And the fact that you -- and so many white, Christian devotees -- respond to his call is, in my view, appalling.
