Pompeo's bravado is aimed at nothing more than buying Trump enough time to get reelected without delivering squat on his promise to denuclearize North Korea.
Anyone who falls for such middle school bravado is, in the literal sense of the word, a moron who deserves pity.
However in the meantime, and while granting all the pity s/he deserves, I will take his (or her) money, laughing all the way to the bank.
The deadline reflects a commitment from North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, according to Pompeo.
