Just "get out of the way" and the magic hand of the marketplace coupled with the magic hand of scripture (preferably emblazoned in public places) will accomplish all the necessary goals embedded in "The Great Return" to God -- and, substantively, what is much the same thing, The Golden Calf.
And when the calf is fattened, it is ALL for them - The Chosen, The Righteous, The Unimpeachable.
You will never hear a word about The Dark Ages befalling Europe just 150 years after Christianity became The Official Religion of the Roman Empire.
Nor do you hear any discussion of what happened to Noah's own children after God killed off the rest of humankind to restore righteousness to the world.
