A Democrat Has NEVER Been Named Director Of The FBI

Alan: I just learned from NPR that no president has ever appointed a Democrat to head the FBI. 

No wonder this perennial clutch of right-wing sonsobitches could not resist an institutional coup. 

N.B. I just spent 15 minutes trying to confirm the datum about "no Democratic FBI head," and - astonishingly - can find no webpage that corroborate what the talking head said.
