Until now, American healthcare has worked quite well for those who are wealthy, enjoy really good jobs and who have no pre-existing conditions - even conditions that are no longer a medical issue.
About 50 million people are excluded from "private insurance."
Tens of millions more are drastically "undercovered."
Were it not for psychological denial, these untold millions would realize they have been bamboozled,
in part by insurance companies, and in part by their own wishful thinking.
It is not accidental that onerous medical costs are the foremost cause of bankrupty in the United States
